Description

Set in Victorian England, a housemaid named Lily discovers the dark secret of her employer, a wealthy and manipulative man named John. After an accidental drowning, Lily becomes entangled in John's web of deceit. To protect herself, she uses John's guilt against him, leading to a tense game of cat and mouse. As Lily becomes increasingly emboldened, she must navigate a world filled with danger and moral dilemmas. The film explores themes of power, betrayal, and the lengths one will go to escape a precarious situation, culminating in a suspenseful climax that reveals the true nature of both characters.
